What is the process?
Stage One - Quotation for work
Most of our customers call or email us then follow up by sending us an image of a item that they want restored and reupholstered (or if local we will visit you).
We then send a formal quote for the upholstery work and estimate for the amount of fabric needed for the project.
Stage Two - Fabric selection
We are partnered with a large number of reliable good quality fabric companies ranging from £20 per metre to over £200 per metre depending on your requirement and have sample books in our shop to choose from.
Once fabric is ordered we move to the final stage of work
Stage 3 - The work
Once fabric has been chosen and purchased we then schedule you in our diary for the reupholstery work collect the item(s)
On completion we deliver to your home
About Us
Our History
Hymas Furniture is a company located in Hadleigh Suffolk and born from Les's passion for restoring unique antique furniture using traditional methods. We also work on bespoke furniture upholstery projects.
The business has changed over the years to become a family business with Les's sons Toby and Ben on board.
Traditional Methods
We employ the use of traditional time tested upholstery methods dating back hundreds of years - hand stitching, horsehair traditional style sprung seating, and also modern materials and methods where the project demands it
